Gastgeber*innen im Dialogcafé Digital

At the Dialogcafé Digital we get together online in a relaxed environment to speak with each other in German. German learners from all over the world take part in order to improve their German language skills through conversation.

You are communicative and open to new things? You are curious and would like to meet new people? Do you want to contribute to a more open-minded society?

What are my tasks?

First, you can take a look at the project format as a participant. Then you will get an introduction until you feel confident. As soon as you are ready, you will regularly moderate a one-hour conversation session with German learners via videochat (application: WebEx Meeting).

In addition, there are exchange meetings, further training and a great team of voluntary hosts.

Time required

The Dialogcafé is a weekly event that takes place every Tuesday – oncee in the morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and again in the evening from 6:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The sessions are divided amongallthe hosts according to their capacity. Depending on your availability, you can take on two or more sessionsper month.

Where will my community project take place?

This format is digital, so you can work from anywhere. You do not have to live in Munich to host the event.

Kultur-Botschafter*innen

It is very important to us to reach people regardless of age, circumstances, possibilities and interests:

We want to enable cultural participation for people of all ages, social and cultural backgrounds. Thisrequires a personal invitation: support us in raising more awareness of our low-threshold and free events and workshops, cultural projects and group activities.

What are my tasks?

You can choose which of our programmes you would like to share with others as a cultural ambassador. The format of the cultural ambassador is still developing. We have made particularly good experiences with mediation work right in front of Guardini90, where you can sit in the sun with a table, flyers and coffee,waiting for people passing by to strike up a conversation with you

Duration/time required:

Whether only for limited time, from time to time or alonger period – we can adjust the time commitment to your current life situation,starting at two hours a month.

Where will my community project take place?

When the weather is good, outside Guardini90 or out on the streets of in Neuhadern, Kleinhadern, Blumenau or Großhadern.

What does Guardini90 offer me in return?

You will gain an insight into sociocultural work, meet new people and – if you want – have a lot of space to develop your own ideas. You are insured against accidents and liability. Miriam Worek (Guardini90) is your personal contact person.
